Thanks to everyone for all the support and advice so far!
This is how our weekend went down. Saturday night we went out to the Grand RE-opening of Penwell Drag Strip. This track opened in the 1960’s (Before I was even thought about!) and made it up until about 2002′ish before dying a humiliating death. A local Business man and close friend of ours has spent over $1m refurbishing and reopening the track. Plans were for the track to open in 09 but everyone found out and the race was on!
10.5 cars, Southwest SuperChargers, Bikes, Pro-Stocks, Street Cars over 230 total! Carl had planned on me making a few passes just for sponsors pics etc, but it was so hectic and crowded we deciced this might not be the best time for Drag Racing preview from a first timer!

There is still about 6 weeks of work left (and 4 weeks till the Texas Mile) But the plans include:
- Big AirBox Mod
- Sealing ram air tubes
- Lowering the bike
- New shaved tires
- Remove the rear fender/mirrors/passenger pegs/Turnsignals/reflectors
- Change the velocity stacks
- Move to Synthetic oil
- New Chain and Sprockets
- Swingarm extensions
IF there’s time we will try to get the cut down tank, blue painters tape on every seam, and we are looking at POSSIBLY ceramic wheel bearings

Things have rocked along pretty good as you might have seen in the Video’s starting with a basically stock 04 Busa with Slip-ons and gradually making the changes to increase power. Somewhere a few days into the LSR Venture a few very close friends decided to sell their Busa and offered us their Brock’s New Hayabusa Owner Kit! FREE!
